Event Description:

Math Foundations Academy is a research-based training for educators of students with moderate to significant disabilities that take an alternate access. The 5 day course is designed to walk educators through the "Components of Number Sense" model to make strong mathematical connections, understanding math concepts not just procedural knowledge. Educators can then make implementation choices to positively impact success for students with moderate to significant disabilities.

Substitute reimbursement will be offered to special education teachers at a cap of $75 per day for each day they attend.
