The explicit instruction lab gives practitioners the opportunity to deepen their skills and application of the explicit instruction strategies and techniques learned in the series or book study. The purpose of the learning lab is to provide an opportunity for colleagues to come together to connect, share, reflect, and observe in a safe and supportive environment. The learning labs are hosted in participant districts by participants in the lab and occur in classrooms around Oakland County.
Oakland County Public School districts will receive substitute reimbursement for each session educators attend.
