Event Description:

This session is designed to support the implementation of building leadership teams who are beginning or sustaining an RTI framework for elementary literacy. Participants will learn about key components of instructional problem- solving and the  four purposes of assessment within a comprehensive assessment continuum  that support it  (outcome, universal screening, diagnostic, and progress monitoring). In addition, participants will understand the purposes of grade-level data meetings at different points in the year (fall, winter and spring), meetings roles and facilitation skills. Dialogue and activities will focus on how schools can use a problem-solving process to analyze school wide data at different points in the year as part of their continuous improvement process.
