Event Description:

Are you looking for an opportunity to learn about reading strategies in the context of the classroom? The Reading Strategies Learning Lab will give teachers an opportunity to focus on the implementation of lessons and strategies presented in the Teaching Reading Sourcebook. This session will engage participants in a teaching lab experience in an Oakland County classroom. We will learn about, observe, share, and practice strategies during the delivery of core instruction or intervention. We will observe each other implementing strategies within the classroom and will reflect together on instruction and intervention. Teachers will then practice these skills and create an action plan for using the skills in their own classroom.
