Event Description:
This session is designed to support building leadership teams who want to learn about the core elements of Response to Intervention (RTI), the research supporting this framework, and how a multi-tiered RTI framework can be used to accelerate the early literacy development of all students. Activities will focus on a data-based school improvement process to identify whether a compelling need for an RTI framework exists, learning about the process for establishing initial consensus at the school building and district levels, and re-attending to school culture and consensus as  schools  sustain implementation of an RTI framework over time.
