Audience: Members of Oakland County building leadership teams that are implementing a Response to Intervention Framework for elementary literacy. Leadership team members include the building principal, at least one general education representative,  and at least one special education representative.

Event Description:
This session is designed to support the implementation efforts of building leadership teams who are beginning or sustaining an RTI framework for elementary literacy. Participants will learn about the need for a comprehensive assessment plan that includes four types of data (outcome, universal screening , diagnostic, and progress monitoring) and how to use multiple data sources to analyze instructional strengths, needs, and effectiveness for grade level, classroom level, and small group planning. Teams will practice problem- solving at a Winter grade-level data meeting with a mock set of schoolwide data, and then use their own school's Winter data to practice problem-solving in anticipation of Winter grade level data meetings.
