| Event Description: |
This county-wide networking meeting for school social workers will feature opportunities to share resources between various districts. Sitting in groups of 4 or 5 according to disability and age interest level, school social workers will bring one assessment tool, activity, intervention idea, and community resource to share with their groups. The day will also feature some design studio time to develop IEP goals and objectives for students based on disability areas. Time saving practices, use of web tools for collaboration and common core connections to social work will be discussed. Note: Participants are not required to attend Part 1 to attend this event. Note: Due to funding guidelines, priority will be given to Oakland County public schools & PSA's. Non-public schools and out-of-county registrants may be moved to a waiting list, but will be notified in advance of the change in registration status. |
