Event Description: |
Do you struggle with writing social emotional goals? Does Mrs. Jones tell you that taking Johnny right now will interfere with meeting his reading progress? In this experience, we will examine the SEL goal writing "big picture" from assessment to progress monitoring. We’ll look at the Common Core State Standards and their connections with socio-emotional learning, the gathering of present level data, the actual writing of the goals, and the process of progress monitoring. Please bring a case for practice reflection. Please complete the survey located at http://tinyurl.com/OSSELGoal1 . Note-Due to funding guidelines, 35 seats are available for Oakland County Public Schools and PSA/Charter School employees for $15. There are 3 seats available for participants from Oakland County Private Schools and Agencies, and 2 seats available for out-of-county participants at a cost of $30 per participant. |
