Event Description:

Participants will learn verbal strategies that are designed to help prevent, de escalate, and resolve behavior difficulties. Strategies will be drawn from the most applicable parts of Life Space Crisis Intervention (LSCI), Nonviolent Crisis Intervention (NCI), Collaborative Problem Solving (CPS), and Motivational Interviewing (MI). At the conclusion participants will be able to recognize when to use such strategies and to employ strategic elements. Handouts will be provided electronically.
