Event Description:
This one day presentation on Emergent Literacy for Students with moderate to significant disabilities will expose participants to a balanced literacy approach beginning at the emergent level. Literacy strategies and interventions, as well, as assessment tools with be introduced and discussed. Due to funding guidelines, 72 seats are available for Oakland County Public School and PSA/Charter School employee’s at a cost of $15.00 per participant. There are 8 seats available for Private Schools, Agencies and Out-of-County participants at a cost of $120.00 per participant. *PLEASE NOTE: Handouts will be dispersed electronically.
