The recently published NCSSFL-ACTFL Can-Do Statements provide world language instructors with performance descriptors that can be used for a variety of purposes. Attendees will learn how to:
• use the statements to plan lessons, curriculum and assessments;
• help students use the statements to recognize their own proficiency level;
• help students identify what they need to do to attain a higher level of proficiency;
• use the statements to demonstrate acceptable yearly progress.
