Event Description:

Dr. Carolyn Stone, Professor, Counselor Educator, and current ASCA Ethics Chair will help participants develop an ethical decision making framework for analyzing and resolving ethical issues. Federal and Michigan laws, case studies, and local school board rules are used to better explain the complexities of all topics discussed throughout this workshop including: confidentiality, minors’ privacy rights, parental rights, child abuse, negligence, transgendered youth, pregnant students, and much more.
