Event Description:
The Michigan Merit Curriculum recognizes American Sign Language as a world language. Students may earn two credits in ASL to fulfill the state requirement..
Are you the only ASL teacher in your district?
Are you struggling with writing a standards-based curriculum?
Do you need help developing a successful program?
Are you willing to share classroom-proven activities that promote student success?
If you can answer YES to these questions this professional development workshop is for you! The Oakland ASL Network is designed for all teachers who are currently teaching ASL. By attending this session, participants develop a network of support and resources to work on curriculum, instruction and assessment for ASL. Come share and learn with other ASL teachers!
