Audience: Oakland County Public School SLP's, teachers and support staff who are looking for foundational implementation support for AAC.

Event Description:

This event is for Oakland County Public School Employees only.

This is a foundational learning opportunity for those working with students who have complex communication needs, requiring Augmentative/Alternative Communication (AAC). The focus is building shared knowledge in AAC and language.The topics will include: Communication Mindset, Core Vocabulary, Aided Language Input, Vocabulary Instruction and Communication Opportunities. District teams are encouraged to attend together to learn how to create a powerful communication environment!
