Join us as national leaders and district representatives share their experiences and learning around UDL and its implementation. In this workshop participants will: Learn about Universal Design Learning and its implications for educational environments; Explore current UDL research, key concepts, and practical classroom applications; Explore UDL and its connections to Common Core; Learn to use UDL as an instructional design tool, specifically focused on environmental design and lesson design. Dr. Jon Mundorf will be presenting. Handouts will be provided electronically to participants prior to the workshop. Participants should bring a fully charged laptop or other device. Note-Due to funding guidelines, 63 seats are available for Oakland County Public Schools and PSA/Charter School employees for $15. There are 2 seats available for participants from Oakland County Private Schools and Agencies, and 10 seats available for out-of-county participants at a cost of $98 per participant. |
