FOUR Camp Sessions to choose from!

SESSION 1: Mon., June 26 - Thurs., June 29, 2017 and Wed., July 5 - Fri., July 7, 2017, 8 AM - 2 PM
Oakland Schools Technical Campus Southwest, 1000 Beck Rd., Wixom, MI

SESSION 2: Wednesday, July 5 - Friday, July 7, 2017 and Monday, July 10 - Friday, July 14, 2017 8 AM - 2 PM
Oakland Schools Technical Campus Northeast, 1371 N. Perry, Pontiac, MI

SESSION 3: Monday, July 10 - Thursday, July 13, 2017 and Monday, July 17 - Thursday, July 20, 2017, 8 AM - 2 PM
Oakland Schools Technical Campus Southeast, 5055 Delemere, Royal Oak, MI

SESSION 4: Monday, July 17 - Thursday, July 20, 2017 and Monday, July 24 - Thursday, July 27, 2017, 8 AM - 2 PM
Oakland Schools Technical Campus Northwest, 8211 Big Lake Rd., Clarkston, MI

OPTIONAL FIFTH CAPSTONE PROJECT SESSION:
(Available to all previous session participants at no extra charge. You must have attended one of the previous sessions)
Monday, July 31 - Thursday, Aug. 3, 2017, 8 AM - 2 PM
Oakland Schools Technical Campus Northeast, 1371 N. Perry, Pontiac, MI

Cost: 
$65.00 for current OSTC students
$130 for all other Oakland County High School students (Grades 8-12)
Transportation:
Participants are responsible for transportation to the technical campus each day. Transportation from the technical campus to Oakland University will be provided by Oakland Schools.

Event Description:

Oakland Schools is partnering with Oakland University - Engineering and Computer Science(SECS) is teaming up with the Oakland Schools Technical Campuses to provide an exciting two-week, hands-on engineering experience for Oakland’s high school students.

STEM Topics Presented:

  • Alternative Energy Systems
  • Bio-Engineering
  • The Science of Flying Drones
  • Electronic Circuit Design
  • Programming and Controls
  • Computer Engineering
  • Robot Building
 
Cancellation Policy: Notice of cancellation must be received in writing  no later than 7 BUSINESS days prior to the first day of camp in order to receive a refund.  No refund shall be provided, and the registration fee will be forfeited, if notice of cancellation is received less than 7 business days from the first date of camp
