Event Description:

One of the most significant contributions social studies teachers can make is helping students learning how to navigate a political climate in which we no longer talk to each other about controversial issues. Participants will learn how to use structured dialogue to identify perspectives and enable students to discuss controversial issues in a safe and secure environment. This session is designed for grades 6-12.
