Event Description:

This event is a "drop-in" open house style session where items from the Classroom Makers Project will be available for participant exploration with guidance and facilitation available as needed. Come and spend time with other educators checking out what can happen in a makerspace environment. Explore robots, 3D printing, electrical circuits, storytelling tools, building materials, and more. Play our game and enter your gamecard for a chance to win books about makerspaces and making. Find out how you can borrow items to use in your classroom from the Oakland Schools/REMC 17 lending library of maker materials available for educators working in public schools located in Oakland County. Leave with ideas for bringing or extending the use of making experiences for your students. Food: Snacks will be served throughout the event.

Time: Arrive at 9:00 AM or later and stay as long as you like. The event will wrap up at 1:00 PM.
