Data and assessment literacy is a core part of the modern educator's knowledge and skill set. Based on the Michigan Assessment Consortium's Assessment Literacy Standards, this series will raise awareness of skillful practices in creating assessments and using a variety of student assessment data to improve student learning. Participants will also learn to read interpret a variety of data sources, and evaluate the effectiveness of teaching strategies and programs, in order to create an optimal learning environment for all students. We strongly encourage teams of educators (including building and district leaders) from schools/districts to register, as a group will have opportunities to collaboratively problem solve practical solutions for their local students. |
