| Event Description: |
Recent attention is being given to the terms, Resilience, Grit, and Post-Traumatic Growth. Participants will learn the differences in and controversies around these concepts through recent research and current practice. They will understand the benefit of attending to these strengths within ourselves and our students. Finally, participants will leave with proven strategies to increase resilience within themselves and the young people in their care. This workshop is facilitated by Julie McDaniel. |
