This event is for active Oakland County Public Schools and PSA's only. This is a one-day foundational learning opportunity for educators supporting the communication skills of students with complex communication needs who require Augmentative/Alternative Communication (AAC). The focus is building shared knowledge in AAC and language, topics include: Communication Mindset, Core Vocabulary, Aided Language Input, Vocabulary Instruction and Communication Opportunities. We hope you are as excited as we are to have the opportunity to gain the information and support you need to confidently and effectively teach your students with complex communication needs become competent communicators! |
