CANCELLED - World Language for Administrators: Guidelines for Programs and Teacher Effectiveness Session 1 

 
 
Description: 

This professional learning opportunity has been designed specifically for administrators who oversee world language programs and who evaluate world language teachers. In this workshop administrators will receive an overview of the components needed for a quality world language program. Additionally, participants will become familiar with criteria to consider when evaluating world language instruction. As a result of this workshop, participants will become familiar with:

• world language standards, proficiency guidelines and others documents as they relate to creating curriculum, developing lesson plans, and assessing progress

• best practices in teaching and learning world languages

• the six domains of teacher effectiveness for world languages
