Event Description:

Bring your team and join us for a day with Dr. Linda Diamond, co-author of the Teaching Reading Source Book! Dr. Diamond will expand on the rich foundational knowledge and skills provided in the Teaching Reading Sourcebook. Dr. Diamond will share the most current research on the big ideas in reading and expand upon our knowledge around phonological awareness, phonics, fluency, vocabulary and comprehension for struggling learners. She will help us analyze the strengths and weaknesses of our philosophical approach as well as the assessments and instructional strategies we use with struggling learners. Dr. Diamond will help us frame how to implement critical reading strategies and instructional techniques within any curriculum for the benefit of our students with disabilities.
