Event Description:

This workshop is the second in a series on standards-based grading in the world language classroom. If you attended the first session on incorporating SBG in your classroom, join the presenters to celebrate your successes and share your challenges. Using an interactive format, we will discuss assessment and create an IPA (Integrated Performance Assessment) or classroom activities that support SBG. Since this workshop focuses on the use of Integrated Performance Assessments to evaluate student performance, participants will have the opportunity evaluate student assessment samples based on Oakland Schools World Language rubrics. Participants will also receive recommended resources, tips and examples for gradebook setups as well as suggestions for providing effective feedback.
