Event Description:

Day 1 - August 21: Setting Your District & Building Teams Up for Success:

Are you wondering how the district leadership team interacts with the building teams? Are you unclear of the purpose and tasks of each team? Do your teams have clearly defined roles and responsibilities? If these are questions you are grappling with, then plan on attending this leadership boot camp with your team and leave with an MTSS action plan for the 2018-19 school year! Day 1 will be devoted to discussing communication plans, working through the knowledge and skills needed about MTSS to sustain practice over time, and opportunities to evaluate and refine your current implementation plan.

Day 2 - December 3: Implementing and Evaluating Universal and Supplemental Instruction:

District leadership teams will learn about a framework to evaluate universal and supplemental instruction and plan for improvements. We will walk through how to evaluate effectiveness, identify barriers to effective instruction and interventions, and develop action plans, and monitor progress toward improvements in universal instruction.

Note: We recommend that district level leadership teams register for this event. This should include those who are in a position to plan, problem solve, and coordinate the implementation of building level MTSS teams.
