Event Description:

Join us for a powerful 2-day foundational training on this research-based initiative that has shown to reduce bullying, harassment, and other peer-to-peer aggression. Used throughout schools in Michigan, Bully-Free Schools is a comprehensive approach to creating safe and supportive learning environments. It will enhance current initiatives by bringing additional strategies and practices designed to promote social/emotional skill development, intrinsically-motivated behavioral change, and multi-tiered discipline system for peer aggression. Participants will move quickly from "What?" and "So What?" questions to "Now What?," learning the steps to implement the Bully-Free Schools approach. Among other steps, this includes the implementation of the BFS staff and student survey.
