Event Description:
We have solid evidence that resilience allows us to bounce back and move forward after traumatic events. We also know that building resilience after the crisis is still beneficial to our well-being. Please join us for a session devoted to resilience. You will learn the terms grit, resilience, and post-traumatice growth and understand the controversy and the promise surrounding these terms. Using the latest research, we will explore the components of resilience and learn how to develop it in ourselves. You will also learn skills and strategies and receive several resources for helping our children/young people develop resilience. This workshop is facilitated by Julie McDaniel.
