Event Description:

This event is for active Oakland County Public Schools Educators and PSA's only.

This is about implementing tier one of the PBIS framework. Defining, teaching, monitoring, acknowledging what we expect is a core piece of the framework. Use information from your Tiered Fidelity Inventory to determine strengths and weaknesses and create a drafted plan for whole staff to review discuss and revise. Purpose: to create a plan to teach, monitor and acknowledge school-wide expectations to staff and students. Outcomes: 1. Create School-wide expectation for common areas. 2. Create a plan for creating and teaching lessons around expectations. 3. Select a method to monitor student culture and behavior; understand how well your plan is working. 4. Discover ways to acknowledge students/staff doing the "right thing". 5. Consider ways to create celebrations for students and staff.

School leadership teams of 3-5 recommended.
