Event Description: |
Do you educate one or more students with Autism in a general education setting? Do you wonder what strategies other teachers successfully use to meet the needs of students with Autism? If so, this workshop is for YOU! Participants will learn how to improve student initiation, engagement, time-on-task and work completion by implementing simple, evidence-based practices. And the best part: the tips, tools and strategies can be implemented to improve the learning of ALL students! This professional learning opportunity includes small and large group discussion, as well as ideas you can use in your classroom tomorrow. The morning will consist of brain-based research and providing inclusive opportunities with fidelity; the afternoon will consist of elementary and secondary breakouts for strategy application at both levels. |
