Event Description:

This program includes a series of four workshops to introduce educators to the MISchoolData portal and build their capacity to use the data strategically as part of their continuous improvement and/or program planning processes. Each workshop will focus on a specific topic. Participants will have two options for each workshop: Attend in the AM only or attend the full day. The morning sessions (8:30-12:00) will address content and data reports specific to the topics of the day. The afternoon sessions (1:00-3:00) will allow participants to "dig deeper" into the reports and explore ways to use the data for problem solving and continuous improvement.

This session is designed for experienced users of MISchoolData to dig deeper into the data available in the portal, including technical updates and enhancements. An introduction to the Data Driven Dialogue protocol will be provided. Explore the new features of the portal, connections to school improvement, and the functionality that can inform local decision-making. The afternoon session will address strategies for leading the continuous improvement process and using data to inform evaluation and planning.

Registration Information: Participants will register for each day separately; however, SCECH hours will accumulate based on participation in the entire series. For each day of the series, participants may register for the Morning Only or the Full Day. No Registration Fee. Lunch is on your own from 12:00-1:00.
