Don’t miss A Day with the Arts: Visual Art at Oakland Schools on November 6, 2018 (Election Day).
K-12 ART will feature Zack Frieling and Stephanie Sucaet-Felczak, Studio Instructors at the Detroit Institute of Arts, for a hands-on experience. Motivating for Learner-Centered Engagement participants will explore materials, trying out different approaches based on ideas generated – all geared to classroom application. This workshop will include a mixed media project that focuses on motivating learner engagement through group exploration of alternative and recycled materials.
Please note: there is a limit of 40 participants for this Visual Art workshop. Out-of-county art registrants will be put on a waiting list until October 30, as preference must be given to Oakland County teachers.
