Event Description: |
Are you a new Teacher, SLP, OT, Para Educator or Social Worker on a team that supports one or more students with Autism? Do you want to learn more about evidence-based practices that help students with autism be more successful in school? If so, this learning opportunity is for you! Participants can expect to gain an overview of autism and how to support a student with autism in the school setting. Topics will include how to utilize visual supports, self-management systems, behavioral planning, literacy instruction, peer to peer supports, communication systems and promoting inclusive practices. A variety of resources and tools will be shared with all participants who attend. |
