Oakland Schools and the Oakland Schools Technical Campuses (OSTC)-Southeast and Southwest in partnership with the Midwest CISSE Chapter will be running a AFA CyberCamp, geared for students going into 9th and 10th grade who are interested in cybersecurity, operating systems and computer networks. No previous cybersecurity experience is necessary. The 20-hour curriculum is designed to be completed over five days, with the fifth day serving as a day of mini-Competition where students are tasks with managing the network of a small company and will need to find cybersecurity vulnerabilities while maintaining critical services! Many students who attend AFA CyberCamps go on to join a CyberPatriot National Defense Competition team during the school year. Cancellation Policy: There is $ 20.00 non-refundable registration fee for this camp. |
