Experience Michigan's Tier 1, evidence-based Comprehensive Health Education Curriculum: Michigan Model for Health. It's proven to lead to meaningful behavior changes in the classroom and beyond for youth. Sub reimbursement available for Oakland County Classroom teachers($75 max/day). SCECHs and SW CEs pending.
Participants will leave these sessions prepared to begin teaching these skill-based lessons by covering:
• Current youth trends related to health and well-being
• Health: The missing link in closing the achievement gap
• What does evidence and skills based comprehensive health education look like?
• Overview of curriculum manual and required materials kit
