Title: Western Oakland County Parenting Education Fair

Time: 7:30 AM - 2:30 PM
Location: Walled Lake Northern High School, 6000 Bogie Lake Road, Commerce, MI
Cost: $15.00 per pre-registered attendee; $25.00 on-site
Child care is available - $3 for one child, $5 for a family
Lunches will be available for purchase from local food trucks.
Online registration orders must be paid for by Visa or MasterCard.

Event Description:

The purpose of the Western Oakland County Parenting Education Fair is to educate, inform, and provide resources for parents and caregivers. The day will start with award winning social skills educator, Brooks Gibbs. . His keynote presentation will be followed by a variety of breakout sessions that parents/caregivers can choose to attend. Topics include parenting effectively, internet safety and screen time limits, coping skills for kids, nutrition tips, talking to your children about racism, talking to your children about drugs/alcohol, planning for college, etc.
