Event Description:

This event will be conducted LIVE online. The online link will be sent to you shortly before the event.

We will adjust breaks and lunch to provide some off camera time, so plan for an active day of learning together. Pets, deliveries, kids, and other life moments are perfectly ok. We’re #BetterTogether and look forward to "seeing" you in August. Stipends for Oakland County educators and SCECHs are still being offered. Contact Shawna with any questions: Shawna.veit@oakland.k12.mi.us

Join veteran co-teachers for a full day exploration of partnership tools and low prep co-teaching moves found in the co-teaching books by Andrea Honigsfeld and Maria Dove. We will investigate high impact UDL strategies and rehearse a 29 minute problem solving protocol. Teachers are welcome to attend on their own, but coming with your teaching partner(s) or as a building team can be a powerful way to begin the school year. Educators will take away conversations guides to share with co-teaching partners, access to the UDL implementation supports, and options for low prep teacher moves to shift classroom practice.

This workshop is for Special Education Teachers, Teacher Consultants, Speech and Language Pathologists, Para Educators, Administrators and General Education Teachers supporting students with IEP's.

This workshop is for active Oakland County Public School and PSA Educators only.
