Assistive Technology can be a couple of scary words, but they don't have to be! Bring your colleagues and join Mike Marotta in a hands-on assistive technology day for students with high incidence eligibilities. Learn tools in the fields of reading, writing, note taking and executive function, all while incorporating Google Chrome, inclusion and universal design.
Major topics will include built in Chrome book accessibility, the SETT Framework (Student Environment Task Tool), QIAT (Quality Indicators of Assistive Technology) and implementation of assistive technology in your district.
This one day event will prove to be time well spent while reinvigorating your excitement to support students with IEP's in an inclusive environment. District teams are encouraged to attend this full day event then continue learning implementation strategies with the Assistive Technology Community of Practice.
