Event Description:

This event is for active Oakland County Public School Special Educators only.

Do you use the Assessment, Evaluation, and Programming System (AEPS) in your district? Would you like to learn more about how to maximize its use?

If you've never had formal training in how to use the AEPS or would like a refresher, attend the training! Participants will learn how to administer, interpret, and use the AEPS assessment results to provide play-based learning that utilizes children's strengths as well as tiered instruction strategies for children birth through age 5.

Did you know there is a new version due to be released in Fall 2021? It's true! Version 3 is coming in less than a year. This training will also touch on the new features in version 3.

Oakland Schools is pleased to offer this one-day virtual training co-presented by Dr. Kristie Pretti-Frontczak (one of the developers of the AEPS) and Dr. Julie Causton (founder and CEO of Inclusive Schooling)!

The training is open to ALL Early Intervention and ECSE staff in Oakland County. When you register, you will be asked to identify whether you work with children Birth-3 ONLY, Birth through age 5, or Ages 3-5 Only.
