Event Description: |
This event will be conducted LIVE online. The online link will be sent to you shortly before the event. We will adjust breaks and lunch to provide some off camera time, so plan for an active day of learning together. Pets, deliveries, kids, and other life moments are perfectly ok. We’re #BetterTogether and look forward to "seeing" you in August. Stipends for Oakland County educators and SCECHs are still being offered. Contact Shawna with any questions: Shawna.veit@oakland.k12.mi.us Participants will engage in high leverage routines using mathematical tasks, collaborative lesson and assessment planning for conventional math students with disabilities. Conventional will focus on students taking the M-STEP and Functional level MiAccess assessments. Free classroom ready resources will be shared. Please see our other SDI math course for emergent learners if your students have complex, moderate, or severe disabilities taking the supported or participation level of MiAccess. This course compliments the Math Trajectories and Assessment professional learning but any special educator or paraprofessional seeking to enhance their mathematics instruction may attend. |
