The high school and post high years can be daunting for most students, but for students with disabilities they can present extreme challenges. It is essential that we equip those working with these students with the necessary knowledge and tools to support students through this transition to an independent adult life. Participants will be exposed to approaches and strategies that will assist their student navigate their social emotional, academic and vocational lives. Paraeducators will return to their classrooms with information and strategies to help their students gain the independence needed for their adult lives.
Stipends are available for all participants attending on their own time. A snack will be provided.
