Event Description:
As schools round out what has been an incredibly challenging school year, one central question remains for the months ahead: How can schools meet the needs of all students to combat learning loss caused by the COVID-19 pandemic? In this 1-hour webinar, we’ll explore how schools can make MTSS work for in-person and remote learning environments. How can leaders make MTSS work for all students, and what role can general and special education teachers play within schools to equitably service all students? Join us as we welcome national MTSS expert Dr. Amy McCart to unpack these questions, and more, as we begin to plan  services for Summer and Fall of 2021. Dr. Amy McCart is the Co-Director for the School Wide Integrated Framework for Transformation (SWIFT), whose mission is  to lead the nation in equity-based MTSS and inclusive education research and services. She is also an Associate Research  Professor with Life Span Institute and an Adjunct Faculty with the Department of Special Education at the University of Kansas.
