The Build Initiative is dedicated to transformative solutions on issues impacting women, entry-level to CEO, in construction, engineering, design and the trades. Advancing the knowledge and depth and breadth of experience as well as cultivating and expanding opportunities is at the heart of the BUILD INITIATIVE [BUILD] programming.
Project Accelerate - Ignite - Spark offers educators, high school girls and women seeking a change in occupation or understanding of the construction, engineering, design and the trades, the opportunity to learn from industry experts and leaders in the field.
The course has recorded video sessions with informational materials where applicable. Enrolled participants have access to these sessions and materials from March 29, 2021 - June 15, 2021. Each session provides SCECH hours based on the instructional time of each module. Module contents include recorded video, powerpoints, and instructional materials as provided by the presenters. Educators are eligible to receive 26.75 SCECHs by completing all sessions and submitting the required program course reflections in order to receive the SCECH hours.
